چکیده
Abstract Thermoplastic elastomer foams based on styrene–ethylene–butylene–styrene (SEBS)/polypropylene (PP) were produced by using different processing techniques such as extrusion and injection molding to achieve optimized mechanical thermal properties in terms of strength, elongation, damping capability. Foaming is a method introducing gas-filled cells into the material it considered an effective way meet requirements for higher impact resistance with low density relatively hardness. In this study, microspheres used foaming agent introduced system machine. They percentages ranged from 1 3%. decrease product thereby lowering weight cost. Besides improving abilities decreasing density, inorganic fillers talc, silica, calcium carbonate increase their effectivity was also investigated. It observed that amount lowered creating voids blend, expected. The introduction increases properties; however, had negative effect even presence agents. About 3% reduction can be achieved talc whereas other opposite density. Accordingly, affected negatively because stiffness filler materials, highest Izod value 50.2 kJ/m 2 . elastic modulus values foamed samples filled CaCO 3 , silica 808, 681, 552 MPa respectively. Combining thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) offers wide variety possibilities new existing applications. addition hardness provides better ability thanks its morphological structure.

Supramolecular polymeric materials constitute a unique class of materials held together by non-covalent interactions. These dynamic supramolecular interactions can provide unique properties such as a strong decrease in viscosity upon relatively mild heating, as well as self-healing ability. In this study we demonstrate the unique mechanical properties of phase-separated electrostatic supramolec...

The objective of this work is to develop a multiscale modeling tool of copolymers with long chains. We propose an enhanced coarse-graining method of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with three beads. The proposed coarse-graining provides an accurate molecular modeling tool to keep the molecular interaction together with computational efficiency. The coarse-grained model with three beads is furt...
متن کاملInfluence of Engage® copolymer type on the properties of Engage®/silicone rubber-based thermoplastic dynamic vulcanizates
Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) are a special class of thermoplastic elastomers, which are produced by simultaneously mixing and crosslinking a rubber with a thermoplastic polymer at an elevated temperature. Peroxide-cured TPVs based on blends of silicone rubber and thermoplastic Engage of two different types, mainly ethylene-octene and ethylenebutene copolymers at different blend ratios have...
